CITY OF KOTZEBUE
PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC COMMENTS REQUESTED

This program allows the City of Kotzebue to support a broad range of activities to prevent and control crime and to improve the criminal justice system.

The City of Kotzebue is proposing the following programs:
1. Training law enforcement officers for an "Officer In Schools" program to deal with

a. Student Safety

b. Reducing Drug and Alcohol Abuse

c. Suicide Prevention and other related issues.
2. Upgrades in technology equipment for the Police Department.
3. Partnering with various agencies in prevention and education programs.

Community comments and ideas are important in this process. Please put your comments and/or ideas in writing and send to:
