0937 hrs, Black puppy found behind EZ Market. Dog impounded.

0938 hrs, Report of a dog running loose with a caribou leg in its mouth. Verbal warning given to owner about dog running at large. Animal Control unable to catch dog.

1249 hrs, Report of a Jeep stuck in a snowbank on the Kotzebue loop. Officers responded to assist motorist, but needed to call Public Works to free the vehicle.

2206 hrs, Report of an assault in the area of AC store. Pending investigation.

2246 hrs, Juveniles throwing rocks at a house in the 100 block of Lagoon were contacted and advised to leave the area.

2337 hrs, Request for Officers to assist removing intoxicated females from a house in the 500 block of Second Ave. Service rendered.

0221 hrs, Report of an intoxicated driver on a stolen snowmachine in the 500 block of Second Ave. Pending investigation.

1103 hrs, Reed, Kurtis L, 20, cited for MCA.

1331 hrs, Report of the theft of gas from a vehicle on the ice near the FAA. Officers responded and did not find a problem.

1840 hrs, Report of an assault in the 300 block of Third Ave. No domestic problem found upon Officers arrival.

2104 hrs, Report of a property damage accident in the area of the 400 block of Lagoon St. Property damage only, no injuries.

0112 hrs, Nordlum, Chad W, 29, arrested for DUI.

0626 hrs, Report of an intoxicated female knocking on a door in the 600 block of Otter Street. Individual left on request.

0704 hrs, Request from TSA at the Alaska Air terminal to assist with security procedures. Service rendered.

1308 hrs, Schaeffer, Sharon J, 31, arrested for Felony DUI, Driving While License Revoked, Reckless Endangerment and Promoting Contraband in the 2nd degree.

1716 hrs, Report of an intoxicated female in the 700 block of Shore Ave. Individual left on request.

2134 hrs, Report of a kite flying in the 300 block of Third Ave, that a plane almost hit. Officers contacted KEA to remove it.

2351 hrs, An intoxicated female called requesting assistance frm the 500 block of Second Ave. Officers responded and found there was no problem.

04/12/04

0155 hrs, Report of a mentally disturbed person in a residence on Adams Street. Officers responded, but the person had left the residence before they arrived. Unable to locate person during search of the area.

0229 hrs, While on patrol, Officers found a suspicious vehicle on Base Road. Subjects were contacted and found it was City employees checking on pumps.

0239 hrs, Report of an intoxicated male outside ATC dorms. Officers contacted the male and he left on request.

1042 hrs, Report of a loose dog in the 100 block of Shore Ave. Unable to locate the dog.

1313 hrs, Request for animal control to dispose of a dog in the 800 block of Fourth Ave.

1325 hrs, Report of a burglary in the 800 block of Garden Street. Pending investigation.

1333 hrs, Savetilik, Daniel R Jr, 51, arrested for Assault 4 DV.

1534 hrs, Report of a DUI driver in a vehicle southbound on Fifth Ave near the hospital. Unable to locate the vehicle.

1915 hrs, Report of an intoxicated male on the ground near Third and Bison St. Male contacted and transported to a safe place to stay.

2256 hrs, Report of an intoxicated female in the Senior Iglut apartments. Officers located a safe place for her to stay.

0222 hrs, Snyder, Isaac Jr, 30, arrested for Assault 4 DV.

0545 hrs, Report of an intoxicated male banging on a door in the A2 unit. Officers contacted the male but did not find any problems.

0951 hrs, Report of a loose dog in the 600 block of Sixth St. Unable to locate dog.

1157 hrs, Pirtle,Clayton J, 25, turned himself in on a Warrant for Assault 4 DV.

1325 hrs, Request for Officers to attempt to locate a male believed to be living in Kotzebue for out of state family members. Service rendered.

1902 hrs, Report of a juvenile fight in the 1000 block of Caribou. Parties were separated and returned to family members.

2019 hrs, Report of males on a 4-wheeler chasing females. Unable to locate the males.

2332 hrs, Report of a theft from a food delivery worker. Person caught by driver. Pending investigation.

4/15/04

0006 hrs, Request for Officers to remove an intoxicated male from the A building. Male left on request.

0015 hrs, An intoxicated female called to request another person be removed from a house in the 800 block of Caribou. Caller called back and called her request.

1109 hrs, Report of a domestic problem in the 300 block of Whittier St. Officers responded and transported a male to another location to difuse the situation.

1348 hrs, Concerned citizen reporting a potentially upset person with a weapon. Male was not located by Officer.

1514 hrs, Sheidt, Dolly, 23, arrested on an Anchorage Warrant for Failure to Appear at a Court Hearing.

1807 hrs, Report of a stolen bike in the area of the school. Bike is a blue mongoose with gray handlebars and no brakes.

2131 hrs, Report of a 3 year old missing from a house in the 600 block of Grayling. Child was located and returned home.

0303 hrs, Request for Officers to assist in diffusing a domestic problem in the 100 block of Lagoon. Officers unable to locate the people involved.

0425 hrs, Report of a noise disturbance in the A3 unit. Officers were unable to make contact with the parties inside the apartment.

0437 hrs, Kingeak, Renee, 18, arrested for Assault 4 on a Police Officer.

1441 hrs, Report of a sinking snowmachine approximately < mile out across from the hotel. Officers reposnded and found it to be a piece of sheet metal floating on the water.

1455 hrs, Booth, Homer E, 58, arrested for DUI.

1550 hrs, Report of a stolen bike at Hansens.

1545 hrs, Report of a juvenile making threats in the area of the school. Pending investigation.

1658 hrs, Request for Officers to remove a male from the 500 block of Shore Ave. Individual left on request.

1940 hrs, Report of a loose reindeer in the 400 block. Owner contacted and will be corralling the animal.

2019 hrs, Report of a domestic problem in the 500 block of Second Ave. Officers responded and did not find a problem.

2151 hrs, Omnik, Gerald J, 37, arrested for Criminal Trespass 1.
